Hi, I’m Andrew, and I truly love what I do. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, with equivalent licenses in Missouri and Illinois. While I’m particularly passionate about working with couples, I also cherish working with individuals. Relationships are at the core of so much of our lives, and I’ve found that even individual therapy often revolves around understanding and improving those connections.

I came to this work later in life—becoming a therapist was always in the back of my mind, but it felt like a daunting path to take on. Now, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

My approach to therapy is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy. What I love about these frameworks is that they center you as the expert in your own life. My role is to guide the exploration, helping you uncover insights and possibilities you might not have recognized. I’m curious about your story, your experiences, and your hopes, and I hold a steadfast belief that you are not the problem—the problem is the problem. As Michael White, the founder of Narrative Therapy, said, “The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem.” Together, we’ll unpack challenges, examine them from different perspectives, and create space for meaningful change.

I’m committed to continually learning and improving my craft. Below, you’ll find a list of the specialized trainings I’ve completed. I’m also part of Three Couples Therapists, a collaborative group of professionals. You can check out the workshops we’ve planned at ThreeCouplesTherapists.com.

The best way to decide if we’re a good fit is to schedule a free 15–20 minute consultation, either on Zoom or in person. Research consistently shows that the relationship between therapist and client is the strongest predictor of therapeutic success, so let’s make sure we get it right from the start.
